Meet the team

Adam Cole

Adam trained in Adelaide and graduated from the University of South Australia in 1998. His passion for sports took him overseas to Europe where the opportunity to work at some of the finest sporting institutions throughout the UK and Ireland presented itself. Adam worked at one of the top medical rehabilitation centres for the University of Cambridge providing treatment to many of their elite rowers for which they have become renown for.

Following two successful years in the UK, Adam was offered a physiotherapist position which involved working with elite athletes in Ireland. He provided treatment to rugby players including members of the European Cup champions Munster. After five years working at the top level and watching Munster win the European Cup in 2005 & 2007, Adam decided to return to Australia.

Throughout his career, Adam has undertaken extensive post graduate professional development in the fields of acupuncture, foot biomechanics, pilates and specialist golf injury management. Adam is a member of both the Australian Physiotherapy Association and Titleist Performance Institute for golf professionals and continues to regularly update his clinical knowledge.

Mark Hancock

Mark graduated from the University of Sydney in 1992.  Since this time he has worked as a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in Sydney and in America for three years. 

Mark now combines an academic and clinical career, working part-time as Lecturer at the University of Sydney and part-time in the clinic.  Mark completed his PHD in 2007, investigation in diagnosis and low back pain. Marks other clinical and research interests include, ankle injuries, sports injuries and evidence based practice.

Mark has published his research in high profile international journals and as an invited speaker at international conferences. 

Kathy Mitchell

Kath graduated from Sydney University, working briefly in the hospital system before moving into private practice.  Kath’s interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy facilitated an eight year appointment with the Balmain rugby league and St Josephs College school rugby teams.

Kath enjoys strong links with the Gladesville and Hunters Hill community having worked in this practice for over 11 years.
